About

Ryan Armstrong is a passionate physical educator and a strong advocate for quality physical education. He is a well-known and admired local, state, and national presenter, is a member of the Missouri Society of Health and Physical Educators (MOSHAPE) and SHAPE America. Ryan leads with enthusiasm, providing students a quality physical education experience in hopes of instilling each individual a love for lifelong physical activity. Furthermore, he enjoys networking and collaborating with other physical educators to enhance instructional practice within physical education worldwide. Ryan has presented on a wide range of topics, including Physical Literacy, Teaching Games for Understanding, Creative Fitness Activities, Standards-Based Assessment, Classroom Management, Team Building, and many more. Lastly, Ryan has organized a growing list of 80 physical education playlists from other HPE Professionals on his YouTube channel for teachers to use as a resource.

Outside of education Ryan enjoys playing sports, fitness training, and traveling.  His favorite sports to play of recent include Spikeball and Pickleball.  Thrill-seeking is also a passion of his, and in the near future, he hopes to bungee jump and skydive.
